N'ombra de vin means "a glass of wine" in Venetian dialect. In 1973, Giacomo Cora founded the first wine shop in Italy to import French wine, located in Milan. It's situated next to the  San Marco Church. This ancient cellar, once a 5th-century Augustinian refectory, and Mozart was invited to the palace.
In 2007, Giacomo's son, Cristiano Cora, took over management, with his innovative spirit and an uncompromising aesthetic, N’ombra de Vin has evolved into a vibrant multi-function venue with a gourmet bistrot for wine lovers of all ages, while keeping the same traditional and historical past. Now, home to over 3000 wine labels and part of the prestigious KRUG Ambassade, Cristiano, with his passionate sommelier team Manuele Boccardi and Andrea di Ponzio, alongside Camillo Carmignani of Parma&Co, has introduced Italy’s finest artisanal products, making N’ombra de Vin a haven of oenological and gastronomic excellence in Milano.
